Question by alive: Online dating advice?
Im in my early 30s (male) and never been on a date before. I have good job and my own apartment. Its just hard for me to meet someone like me. I don’t want to go through life without experiencing love. I want to have a family someday. I’m a christian man who is quiet and shy. I know that this may be a turn off for some women since I’m not experienced, but I can’t give up. What dating sites would you recommend? I was thinking about eharmony.

Most dating sites allow you to fill in a questionnaire or personality test. You will be able to put in your religious wants there. There are many Christians on dating sites so need to worry about that. I would recommend eharmany or match.com because they are quite populated and trusted.
Match.com has 20,000 people joining everyday you are most likely going to find someone you like there. In fact they offer a guarantee that if you sign up for 6 months and don’t find a match they give you 6 more months for free so…seriously you can’t go wrong with that! Question by silver40596: Online Dating?
I’m about to give up on the conventional means of finding a girlfriend. I simply can’t find someone with the qualities I’m looking for. I only attract the sort of person who I am incompatible with. I’m looking for a nonevangelical Christian girl who doesn’t drink or smoke, has never done drugs, and is a virgin. Instead, I’ve managed to attract a girl who realized she was a lesbian one week after we started dating, a girl who is probably a prep, and another who IS a prep, parties a lot, and might not be a virgin (and, for all I know, isn’t single and is leading me on). So I’m thinking of online dating, since I have had no luck finding someone compatible with me so far. (I’m 19 and in college.) But I feel like doing online dating would make me a loser. It’s the only way to find people up to my standards, but I feel that it’s cowardly. Also, what are the odds I’d find someone in my area, and my age? I’ll only go for someone 6 months in either direction of my age. What should I do?
Thing is though, I have standards that I can’t lower. I want to find my equal…I don’t do any of those things and want to find someone who has the same values. I can’t see myself marrying someone who’s not my moral equal.
Also, I respect the Latter Day Saints but don’t believe what they believe as far as theology goes. So even though they are good people, I can’t date one of them.
